ARCTIC CAT DELIVERS DOCUMOTOâ„¢ TO DEALERS
Advanced system fulfills new requirements for expanding technology
Denver, CO – Arctic Cat Inc., based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, designs, engineers, manufactures and markets snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles as one of the most widely recognized companies in the industry. Arctic Cat products are available through a network of independent dealers located throughout the contiguous United States and Canada, and also distributed internationally.
Recently, Arctic Cat announced that they will be offering a new, cutting-edge, cloud based portal through which their dealers can not only order parts, but also access Arctic Cat technical documentation.
Arctic Cat has partnered with Denver based Digabit, Inc. to deliver Documoto, Digabit’s next-generation platform that provides a modern web-based technical documentation library, including electronic parts catalogs, service manuals, service bulletins, and tribal knowledge to replace their existing legacy system.
Documoto is modern, intuitive, visual, simple to use, and is optimized for mobile devices.
For a number of years, Arctic Cat has provided its dealers with a system for ordering parts. However, technology has advanced and requirements have expanded. Arctic Cat recognized that Documoto better supports their dealers with a comprehensive web and mobile solution that supports multiple technical documentation formats (including 3D media), provides easy access to decades of Arctic Cat content, and offers seamless integration with their Cat Tracker system.
“We believe that our dealers will benefit from the features and capabilities of Documoto in support of their sales and services activities. Perhaps most importantly, our dealers will no longer have to wait months for updates. Documoto handles new and modified content in near real time,†said Rod Larson, eCommerce Manager Arctic Cat.
“Updates will be available in days and weeks, rather than calendar quarters. And, the enhanced search and visual references that Documoto offers will make it faster and easier to find the right part,†Larson continued.
Arctic Cat will demonstrate Documoto at their dealer show held in February in Las Vegas, followed by a highly anticipated go-live in April.
